Opening Day @ Silverstar

It always amazes me how you long it takes for the snow to melt up in the mountains. Opening day for the Downhill Mountain biking season at Silverstar Mountain in Vernon BC is June 29 this year and like previous years we still have snow at the top. This makes for some muddy biking but it is still great to be out hitting the trails when not too many people are around.

While Caleb and I are biking Levi is working on his final English paper which is due June 30th. Note the sling on Levi’s right arm… broke his colar bone about 11 days ago while jumping off the cliff on Ada Boulevard. See the video below to see how he ended up this way and if you want to see a video of him making the jump, write up about his first broken bone and a picture of his current state check out the post First real broken bone on Levi’s blog.
