This is such a powerful talk. I appreciate her desire and strength to overcome her anxieties. I love the wrap up…acknowledging that you don’t always know what the best answer is and maybe you don’t have the answer but at least you’re asking the question. Life-long learning requires us to be humble and open and not pretend we know it all, especially from a teaching perspective. As a learner don’t we all expect our instructors to know everything? We have to change this mindset and help learners understand that we are not super humans with all the answers, we are all in this together.
